Well…I was surprised with the lengthy and heated comments my previous post has garnered. Thank u for taking the time to read my humble blog…so honoured.
Saya dah reply to the comments. I replied to everyone yg komen on the previous post. Ada satu joke org Brazil:

Anyway, keputusan pilihanraya hari tu…I am happy with it! Eventough it came as a surprise to me. I mean, election tahun 1999 pun tak cam ni sekali. Waktu tu ada isu besar… Anwar kena sack and all. And PAS menangguk di air keruh…tapi tak derlah sampai lose 2/3 majority….cuma Terengganu jer terlepas. But this time…no big issues, just undercurrent jer. UMNO jatuh kerana isu dalaman party sahaja! Mostly being Pak Lah….so damn incompetent!
I guess semua org pun menyampah ngan Pak Lah. He came across sebagai Mr. Clean at first. But to quote my father “Dier bukan Mr. Clean. Tapi Mr. Keling. Cakap berbelit2. Cakap lain, buat lain!”
Huhuhu. My dad could be witty at times!
Tapi baru saya baca berita kt utusan online tadi. Penang di bawah pemeritahan DAP and PKR takkan lagi mengamalkan Dasar Ekonomi Baru. Diorang nak adil kepada semua kaum.
I dun know how to take that.
Under beratus2 tahun pemerintahan British…Cina diberi keistimewaan berkerja di lombong dan jadi kaya raya, despite the fact that diorang cuma pendatang. Beratus2 tahun! Sedangkan kita baru merdeka 50 tahun…and DEB baru start tahun 1971… so Melayu baru diberi hak istimewa dalam 36 tahun sahaja!
36 years compared to 150 years is nothing!
Kalau nak suruh semua kaum berlumba secara adil….ini memang sesuatu yg mustahil at this point. Dalam perlumbaan ini, org Cina telah bermula dahulu (beratus2 tahun sebelum merdeka under BRitish) Org Melayu baru nak mula. Who do you expect akan tiba di garisan penamat dahulu? This is clearly not fair!
Itu pasal DEB diwujudkan. Biar semua kaum dah sama rata…barulah semua kaum akan mula berlumba dengan adil.
Org selalu cakap, tak cukup2 lagi ke kerajaan tolong org Melayu? Obviously tak cukup. Chinese pun dapat reach tahap diorang sekarang sebab diorang ditolong oleh British at least 150 years while the Malays have got nothing. Dan bila merdeka pun….org Melayu tak minta apa kecuali nak agama Islam jadi agama rasmi dan bahasa Melayu jadi bahasa rasmi, dan raja jadi ketua agama Islam (the good old days bila org Melayu masih fikirkan agama). Itu sahaja!! Tapi selepas berlaku peristiwa 13 Mei baru Melayu bangkit, tu pun setelah di provoke oleh org Cina!
Waktu dulu org Melayu susah nak berniaga. Susah nak compete ngan org Cina. Sebab peniaga Cina minta supplies kt org Cina, diorang dapat murah. Sedangkan supplier Cina jual kt peniaga Melayu dgn harga lebih tinggi. So, peniaga Cina boleh jual barang dgn harga murah berbanding org Melayu dan still dpt untung. Jadi semua org nak beli kt Cina…sampai sekarang pun. So, melayu sentiasa kalah!
Tu pasal DEB diwujudkan!
Am I racist? No! And I dare anyone to contradict me in this! I am not racist! It is against my religion pun kalau nak racist. So kalau pun aku nak racist, I can’t because it’s not the basis of my religion.
Tapi I would like to point out: Jangan nak kata org Melayu lembab, pemalas dan tak nak berusaha walaupun dah berpuluh2 tahun kerajaan tolong! Org Cina ditolong jauh lebih lama daripada tu! And because diorang dah mendahului dalam perlumbaan ni, diorang sentiasa got the upper hand! Org cina sudah di hadapan….and diorang terus maju. Kalaupun org Melayu gain 3 km ahead, Org Cina pun gain 3 km ahead….so sampai bila2 pun org Cina di hadapan…unless Melayu work 10 times harder. Ataupun kita paksa Cina semua stop running…tunggu sampai org Melayu kejar. And then mula berlumba kembali.
But that’s impossible kan! Dengan DEB, kita bukan ambil hak org Cina! Kita bukan suruh org Cina bagi harta diorang kt melayu…kita tak suruh diorang berhenti berniaga pun supaya org Melayu dapat kejar diorang. Kita cuma bagi lebih opportunity kepada org Melayu berdasarkan keperluan!
Contoh; Kalau anak sulung kita sekolah menengah perlukan lebih byk duit poket drpd anak bongsu kita yg sek rendah, takkan kita nak bagi duit poket sama byk! tu bukan adil. Tu bukan meletakkan sesuatu di tempat yg sepatutnya. Obviously we have to give more kat anak sek men, sebab keperluan dia lebih.
Analogy lain: Bukan semua patient yg sakit jantung perlu pergi ICU.
InsyaAllah melayu akan berjaya. Benda ni makan masa. Dan kita baru dapat DEB 36 tahun sahaja!
Granted, DEB ni disalah guna oleh ramai orang. Melayu yg kaya bertambah kaya dan Melayu yg miskin masih di takuk lama. Memang ada org salah guna DEB ni. So kita address lah isu tu sahaja. Jgnlah nak mansuhkan terus DEB. Cuba cari jalan mcm mana DEB ni dpt benefit semua org melayu, supaya Melayu cepat berjaya, and then DEB ni boleh dimansuhkan once and for all. Lagipun, DEB membela melayu, tak pula kaum lain suffer. So what’s the problem?
Saya tak setuju kalau melayu itu diberi hak istimewa kerana dia melayu. That is racist! Tapi melayu itu perlu diberi hak istimewa kerana itu keperluan! Kerana itulah yg adil buat masa ini.
Ekonomi barat pentingkan production to meet the demands. Tapi dlm Islam…kita lebih put emphasis on how to distribute. Contohnya, mcm mana nak distribute zakat. Bukan main bagi jer kt sumer org.
I guess, cam tu juga ngan dasar DEB ni. Kita cuma kena make sure DEB ni dijalankan dgn lebih telus. Once Melayu dah sama cam Cina…saya pun akan setuju kalau DEB tu dimansuhkan buat selama-lamanya. I will stand up that applaud the decision.

Well, agree and disagree.
I believe DEB has it points, but somehow, like you said, it has been tuned to benefit only certain group of malays. melayu-umno.
On the other hand, what would be the fate of anak-anak cina yang miskin? Being honest, do you know any malay who comes from a rich family background, getting scholarship to study overseas? I’d say many.
Honestly, I am not buying the idea of cina lari etc. Do you know that it was the malay who started mining in tanah melayu? Not the chinese? and to merely say chinese was assisted by the british to have superior economy to us is just wrong. Ask you dad, and I am sure he’d say that chinese were very poor before/ right after merdeka. Yet they worked hard, and worked together, rather than tikam2 belakang orang sekaum.
I believe, it is time for us to see ourselves as malaysians rather than melayu or cina or india. DEB or no DEB, people will survive. Just like the singaporean malay can survive, why cannot we?
even without ‘DEB’ as the media perdana put it, I still believe that the malay in penang will prosper better than when it was under the DEB system. we shall see. after all, we should play our watchdog role, and when the time comes, cast our vote.

I disagree with most of what u say about the history of Chinese and Malay etc.. but I am not going into that anymore. Probably u used different History textbooks than mine, hmmm? Or probably u will say..there are always bias in history.
And election being rigged? Huhu…apasal tak rigged biar semua UMNO menang? Apsal biar UMNO lost 5 states? sorry, i dun buy it. Kalau nak rig, dah lama SPR rig kt kelantan tu ha….biar UMNO menang kt situ plak. Just because BA tak menang…nak tuduh election being rigged plak.
I dun discount the possibility altogether! Surely semua benda boleh jadi. But…nak cakap apa pun kena ada bukti, all rite?

I am not forcing my opinion on you. But why don’t you come to Port Dickson sometimes, and get yourself familiar with Muzium Lukut, once the heart of tin mining industry. I was surprised also. That’s the problem when you read only one history book and only hassan al-banna and syed qutb.
When you get yourself registered, maybe you can assist the penamaan calon, polling agent, counting agent etc, and you can see the rigging process happenning right before you.
and sadly, I see the radicalisation of malaysian student in australia being the trend. I assume you are part of the group who sit under ISMA. Try learn deklarasi serambi mekah, because if I am correct, ISMA also sent reps to the conference. Cuba hadamkan, and see where you stand with regards to your own jemaah’s stand.
But you may not be from ISMA. so, just discard the last part if it is not relevant

Wait…I am not that alim. Seriously. Just because I was talking about having a khilafah and all…doesn;t mean I am sooo alim. I am not really into any jemaah, or whatever. Just that my seniors organize talk, and I support them by going and listening to what they have to say. I have never been directly involved with any of the programs or whatever. I am really just a passive listener.
Whatever I said in this blog (nice or bad, wrong or right, stupid or otherwise) is totally my own opinion/conclusion base on what I have heard and learnt. So I won;t have any particular jemaah punya reputation busuk because of me. I am not connected to any particular jemaah…and I will say that again if only for emphasis.
Of course I am aware tentang group2 kt OZ ni…but I have never been part of it. Mostly, I do my own things.
I have never read Hassan al Bana, or Syed Qutb…And I have no idea what ISMA stands for. I do know they are famous ppl, tho…just so u dun think I am totally ignorant.
I am a medical student. I go to school, I come back home, do my work, baca suratkhabar, baca other non-medical books sikit2, go to ceramah kalau ada…and that’s it!
Tak pernah plak aku jadi ketua usrah ke apa ke…
I am not alim at all. I hope I have made that clear and there is no wrong impression, albeit a nice wrong impression. ( i like having ppl think I am more alim than I actually am, but unfortunately that’s not true).
Been fun discussing politics with you. But obviously, you being so damn brilliant and know everyhing so much, I am totally out of ur league.
